What legal requirements do I need to comply with?

We take care of all the necessary requirements to ensure that your Japanese Koi are legally imported into Jersey. Due to current stringent legislation governing the importation of fish into the Island, we have had to work closely for a number of years with the States of Jersey to satisfy the criteria required to obtain the licences and permissions we need to import these fish. Accordingly, you can be safe in the knowledge that we are strictly regulated and co-operate at all times with the States of Jersey. Each fish imported undergoes a rigorous health check before it arrives into the Island and will have been through a lengthy quarantine process in the UK following their arrival from Japan.
